Board of Trustees

FASPS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit governed by a self-selecting Board of Trustees responsible for the school’s long-term success and financial health. Working closely with the Head of School (the Board's only employee), the Trustees set policies, provide strategic direction, and uphold the school’s mission, vision, and values. With fiduciary responsibilities—including duties of care, loyalty, and obedience—the Board ensures sound governance, develops the school’s strategic plan, and secures resources for future generations. 2022-2027 Strategic Plan

FASPS’s fourth strategic plan, "Taking Our Future in Hand" | « Prendre notre future en main », reflects both a pivotal moment in FASPS’s history—securing the site for our permanent home in 2022—and our ongoing commitment to intentional, strategic growth.

Our 2022-2027 strategic plan builds on past successes and focuses on four key goals:

1. Articulating, Embracing, and Emboldening a Maturing FASPS Identity;
2. Invigorating and Extending the FASPS Community;
3. Cementing FASPS’s Position as the Leader in Bilingual Education in the Pacific Northwest; and
4. Strengthening and Enhancing FASPS’s Programs While Striving for Excellence.

These priorities guide our efforts to shape a dynamic, inclusive, and future-ready institution. As we implement this plan and advance our permanent home project, we remain committed to providing an exceptional bilingual education and a thriving community for generations to come.
