PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:
LANGUAGE ARTS & HUMANITIES: In language arts (in French) and humanities (in English), students hone critical thinking through the study of current cultural topics and events, and they refine their written and oral communication skills.
HISTORY & GEOGRAPHY: Through the study of history and geography, students are given the opportunity to explore the context and dynamics of human societies, gaining a deeper understanding of diverse social phenomena.
MATHEMATICS: Math is offered in French and in English with accelerated and differentiated learning. By the end of 8th grade, students have completed the equivalent of high school geometry and are ready for advanced high school algebra.
SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY: Middle school science and technology classes introduce students to physics, biology, chemistry, and technology ( design and coding). These lessons and STEM projects ignite curiosity and provide the tools to explore and make meaning of the world through hands-on learning and discovery.
WORLD LANGUAGES: Students choose an additional language, Mandarin or Spanish, which helps them deepen their understanding of global diversity.
VISUAL & PERFORMING ARTS: Visual arts, music, and drama allow students to be creative, develop technical skills, and cultivate an appreciation for diverse cultures.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION: PE introduces students to different sports activities, helping them increase their confidence, maintain physical fitness, and develop collaborative and leadership skills.

BEYOND THE CLASSROOM: Students partake in overnight educational trips to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, France, China, and Costa Rica. Homestay exchanges (up to 6 weeks) with partner schools in France, Spain, and Taiwan provide students with an immersive learning experience.
ADVISORIES: Small group advisories foster meaningful peer and educator connections. Students receive academic support, set goals, and strengthen school connectedness to increase socio-emotional wellbeing.
